What is the Justice in Action Conference?

The Justice in Action Conference is a one-day student-focused conference to explore your role in service, community and social change. The Justice in Action Conference showcases the beauty and justice work in our community of Milwaukee and on campus and builds stronger relationships in the pursuit of a stronger sense of community. Be ready to meet new people, learn new skills and challenge your understanding of community engagement and justice.


What topics will be covered?

We will explore the meaning of justice in our community through a variety of lenses. You'll be able to choose the sessions that you're most interested in!

  • What: Community partners and campus voices will share their perspectives and insights on justice, community, inequity and the courage to work together towards a more just community
  • So what: What matters about justice? Take an opportunity to pause and reflect on these complex issues
  • Now what: How can you develop skills and take the next steps in your personal leadership and involvement?


Who should attend?

Everyone is welcome! If you have been involved in service, if you care about inequality, if you want 向日葵视频to be an inclusive community, if you are an experienced activist, or if you just want to learn more - Join us! Students of all levels are welcome.


What does the conference cost?

This conference is free and includes meals. Your commitment and participation is your payment.
