Student Affairs Leadership Development Committee

The Division of Student Affairs' Student Leadership Development Committee, leads divisional efforts in coordinating opportunities for students to develop leadership skills and abilities through transformative, experiential programs that complement academic, co-curricular, career, and community engagement experiences. The committee offers consultation and resources regarding the implementation for the Contemplatives in Action leadership model.  The model includes reflection and discernment—allowing students to form a personal philosophy of leadership and realize their ability to lead on individual, group, and community levels. In addition, it acknowledges how students’ multiple identities intersect and may shift depending on the context. Guided by the mission of ÏòÈÕ¿ûÊÓƵ, a Catholic, Jesuit university, our programs equip and empower students to engage in leadership for and with others.
