Private scholarship opportunities

Private outside scholarships are facilitated through the Office of Student Financial Aid and outside organizations. Spanning a variety of different disciplines, students should be aware that private offerings have different application requirements, deadlines and qualifications.

Students must report all outside scholarships from sources other than the federal, state and university programs. Need-based aid may be reduced when a student receives a combination of need based aid and outside scholarships that exceed their financial need. In addition, a reduction of merit awards may occur if the total of all tuition-specific awards exceeds the total cost of tuition or if the value of all awards (including the outside scholarships) exceeds the total cost of attendance. If you have any questions, please see the Financial Aid Guide

The following lists are by no means exhaustive, but offer many unique scholarship opportunities across various areas of study. To research other scholarship opportunities, please visit these websites.
