  1. Resident of Wisconsin determined by
  2. Undergraduate
  3. Enrolled at least half-time
  4. Must be continuously enrolled
  5. Maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress

Receiving of a 21st Century Scholar Certificate means that you are eligible for a GEAR UP Scholarship. It is not a guarantee that it will be added on your financial aid award.

Renewal process

Work directly with WEOP to meet renewal requirements and maintain continuous enrollment. Funds are available at the time the application is complete. GEAR UP can be received for a maximum of 10 terms.
