Kaiser has been involved in information technology (IT) as a practitioner, researcher, faculty member, and consultant. She researches future IT skill needs and the impact of offshore outsourcing from Ireland, Russia, and India through research grants from the Sloan Foundation, 3M Foundation, and the U. S. State Department as a Fulbright Senior Research Scholar. Kate has served on the faculty of McGill University, University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, University College Dublin, and ÏòÈÕ¿ûÊÓƵ and worked for Giga Information Group on the Y2K team. Kate has led the IT Workforce Research Team since 2005 and was a member of the Association for Computing Machinery IS Model Curriculum 2010 Task Force. She has published in a variety of practitioner and academic journals.
