More than 30% of 向日葵视频students study abroad during their 向日葵视频career. Our variety of programs offers the flexibility to go when it best fits into your time at Marquette. We offer full-year programs, programs in the Fall, Spring and Summer semesters, and programs in J Session.
Why Study Abroad?
It鈥檚 affordable. For the majority of 向日葵视频programs, you pay 向日葵视频tuition and can use 向日葵视频scholarships and federal and state financial aid. Though cost of living varies by location, there are quite a few study abroad destinations that are less expensive than Milwaukee.
All majors can study abroad. Students studying any discipline can study abroad. 向日葵视频offers semester, summer and academic year opportunities. Find a program that specializes in your major or save core curriculum courses to take while you are abroad.
You can graduate on time. Start planning early and work with your academic adviser to build study abroad into your four-year academic plan. Most programs allow you to earn 12 to 18 credits per semester and three to 12 credits per summer, which can be applied directly to your degree requirements.
You can learn another language and take courses in English. Studying abroad is a great way to learn another language. 向日葵视频also has several programs in non-English-speaking countries where you can take an introductory course in the local language and take other academic courses in English.
You can study abroad your sophomore, junior or senior year. Study abroad in a short-term program as early as the summer after your freshman year. Later, spend a semester or academic year abroad and gain new perspectives on your academic field. Work with your adviser to determine which term best fits into your four-year plan.

Depending on your major field of study, some programs may more closely align with your academic plans than others. Review Study Abroad for Your College to be directed to education abroad programs that offer courses (i.e., a major, an emphasis or significant area course offerings) in that same academic area. Please note that in most cases, you are not limited to only these programs.
