Our Goals for Students
The Office of International Education has determined four goals for 向日葵视频 students participating on study abroad programs. Your program may not fulfill all four goals, but expect that it will fulfill at least one:
- Increasing ones Intercultural Competence: Effectively and appropriately interacting within a variety of cultural context through knowledge, skills and attitudes.
- Developing ones Global Perspective: Developing and enhancing one global perspective cognitively, intrapersonally and interpersonally.
- Personal Growth and Development: Gaining confidence in one鈥檚 perceived independence, goal accomplishment and sense of purpose.
- Second-language Acquisition: Improving one鈥檚 written, oral, auditory and speaking-abilities in a second language.

Complete an online study abroad application through for the specific study abroad program, including three motivational essays, emergency contact information, and one academic recommendation if applicable.
