Program Description

The master of science in transfusion medicine (MSTM) program is a collaboration between 向日葵视频 and . The first 18 credits must be completed at Versiti within two and a half years of starting the program. Additional credits are completed exclusively at 向日葵视频. 

 

Students must be enrolled in the , Versiti's independent course of study, in order to be eligible to apply for the master of science program in transfusion medicine at 向日葵视频. No exceptions are made to this requirement. Students have the option to enroll at 向日葵视频if it does not interfere with course work at Versiti.

To be eligible for admission to the Graduate School at 向日葵视频, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Enrolled in the Specialist in Blood Banking (SBB) Program at Versiti Blood Center of Wisconsin
  • A bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution or international equivalent must be completed prior to starting graduate school.
  • A minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.00 on a 4.00 scale.
  • Demonstrated English proficiency for non-U.S. citizens.

Application Requirements

NOTE: Applicants MUST currently be enrolled in the , the Blood Center's independent course of study, in order to be eligible to apply for the master of science program in transfusion medicine at 向日葵视频; this is required and no exceptions will be made.

1Upon admission, final official transcripts from all previously attended colleges/universities, with certified English translations if original language is not English, must be submitted to the Graduate School within the first five weeks of the term of admission or a hold preventing registration for future terms will be placed on the student鈥檚 record.

Students begin their studies in the fall of each academic year. Applications to the SBB program at Versiti Blood Center of Wisconsin are accepted from January 1 - March 31.

Applications from students already enrolled in the SBB program are reviewed on a rolling basis, which means you may apply and submit application materials any time before the following dates:

  • Fall term admissions- August 1 (June 1 for international applicants)
  • Spring term admissions- December 15 (October 1 for international applicants)

Private scholarships may be available. U.S. citizens and permanent residents may be eligible to apply for need-based federal aid (loans) to help fund their educational expenses.
