Proof of English Proficiency
English as Official Language of Instruction
International students whose official language of instruction for their bachelor's degree (or master's, if applicable) was not English must submit proof of English proficiency, which is generally evidenced with an official or exam score. The Duolingo English Test is not an acceptable proof of English proficiency. If applicants are citizens of a county where the language of instruction was English, they may be waived from submitting a TOEFL or IELTS (see list of countries below).
TOEFL Information
- A TOEFL score of at least 80 (a minimum of 20 on each section) is the minimum requirement for demonstrated English proficiency for most programs.
- Applicants for some programs must test with higher minimums and should consult application requirements for their individual program. If a higher minimum is required, it will be stated in the application requirements.
- Test scores may not be more than two years old.
- The Designated Institution (DI) code for the 向日葵视频 Graduate School is 1448.
IELTS Information
- An IELTS total score of 6.5 or higher for each section is the minimum requirement for demonstrated English proficiency.
