Urgent/Emergency Dental Care Clinic
What to expect
Urgent dental care is provided by dental students under the supervision of licensed dentists.
You must be able to give written consent for yourself, or a parent or legal guardian must accompany and stay with you for this emergency visit.
Patient emergencies
Current patients that have a dental emergency during regular business hours please contact your assigned student or the clinic coordinator.
Current patients that have an emergency outside of regular business hours may contact our After-Hours emergency service at (262) 521-4997.
If you are not assigned to a student, we have a walk-in service available to the community. Limited walk-in slots are available on a first-come-first-serve basis, from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
The dental school is closed during the university holidays.
We are not a free clinic and there is an initial fee of $106.00 for emergency treatment. Additional fees may apply and will be determined once an exam is completed. For more information see Insurance and Payments.
We provide urgent care for:
- Acute dental pain
- Broken and fractured teeth
- Broken fillings, crowns and bridges
- Dental trauma

- Adults: Yes
- Children: Above the age of 13
- Special needs: Yes. Parent or legal guardian must accompany the dependent adult or teen.
Special Care Clinic
The Special Care Clinic provides dental care for special needs patients. Dental care is provided by dental students under the supervision of licensed dental faculty.

Who we serve
- Special needs: Parent or legal guardian must accompany the dependent adult or teen. The patient must be able to tolerate care without sedation techniques. We cannot provide a hospital setting.
