Determining if all of your classes are online
Classes Taught in an Online Modality
The quickest indicator that your class section is online is the Room listing. If the room listed is "Distance Learning", the class section is typically considered an online section.
To confirm how the class is taught, also known as instruction mode, click on the section number hyperlink to view detailed information. The instruction mode will appear in the Class Details. Fully online instruction modes are "100% distance learning" or "Synchronous Distance Learning".
Note that some classes have multiple sections, such as labs and discussions. Make sure to check the instruction mode for each section to determine if the class as a whole is being taught online.
Approval to Complete an In-Person Class in an Online Modality
If the room listed on any class section in your schedule is a classroom, there is an in-person component to the class and it is not considered online.
In rare cases, a student may be approved to complete an in-person class through an online modality. If this approval is granted by the instructor and college, a "Differentiated Instruction" column will exist with a notation that you are completing the class through an online modality.
Determining if All of Your Classes are Online
If every class section in your schedule is taught in an online modality, or you are approved to complete the class in a fully online modality, then all your classes are considered online for the semester.
If any class section in your schedule has a classroom listed and does not also reflect that you are approved to complete the section in a fully online modality, then all of your classes are not considered online for the semester.
