Bob’s dental practice was in Watertown, but his heart was wherever the world needed aid. He and his wife spent 35 years bringing dental assistance to Cameroon, Guatemala, Haiti, Honduras, Kenya and India, among others.

Iowa City, Iowa

Now retired, Bill still volunteers with a medical team that travels to third-world countries, treating patients with dental, cleft palate and lip injuries — a capstone on his highly successful 44-year career at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.
