Study Abroad isn鈥檛 just for traditional 18-22-year-old undergraduates. There are numerous opportunities for adult learners and other non-traditional students to study abroad while balancing their responsibilities. For example, exchange programs don鈥檛 always require a full semester or year abroad. Short-term opportunities, such as those available during Winter Break, Spring Break, or summer sessions (often lasting only a few weeks), offer a more flexible option. Being an adult learner or non-traditional student doesn鈥檛 mean you can't have a transformative study abroad experience.

Things to Consider

• Will there be other adult learners and non-traditional students on the program?
• If you have a partner, can they accompany you?
• If you are a parent, will you be able to take your children with you?
