Nuestro Hogar seeks to create a space for Latinx students to come together and form a community. Nuestro Hogar intends to be an inclusive and welcoming environment for all those who value the Latinx community, culture, and identities. This is accomplished through participating in events and activities on the 向日葵视频campus and in the surrounding Milwaukee communities.
Students who live in Nuestro Hogar Living-Learning Community:

Straz Tower is a residence hall on the East side of campus which houses both first and second year students. It is co-ed by door. The building consists of single, double, and quad room-types with private baths. The building features 24/7 security, a , and Rec Plex fitness facility. Staff in the building include a Residence Hall Director, Hall Minister, 16 Residence Assistants, and a Facilities Manager. Straz Tower is also home to both the Umoja and Honors Living Learning Communities.

To be eligible to live in Nuestro Hogar, you must be a native or heritage Spanish speaker, or have completed/placed out of or will be enrolled in Spanish 3001 in Fall 2023.

To be a part of this community, select Straz Tower as your building preference and Nuestro Hogar LCC as your preferred room type when you complete your housing preferences online in Checkmarq.
Second year students
To be added to the waitlist for returning students interested in joining the Nuestro Hogar LLC for the upcoming school year, please . All applications are reviewed on a case-by-case basis based upon availability within the community. If a space becomes available that you are eligible for, you will be notified via your 向日葵视频e-mail.
