Other Health Advising

Students often come in thinking that they know which health profession they want to pursue, and end up changing their mind. It’s often the case that students know a great doctor, dentist, physical therapist or other health professional, and so decide early on that they would like to pursue that path.

Once a student is actively exploring that field by volunteering, working or shadowing, they may find another career that suits them even better. After all, most students state from high school that they want to become a doctor (or dentist, PA, PT or other practice) because they want to help people. Helping people and serving others is what all health professionals do, so it may end up that another area of health care suits you better.

Our pre-health advisors at ÏòÈÕ¿ûÊÓƵ will help you as you work to explore fields and find the best fit for you.
