This fully funded fellowship allows newsroom professionals to do the best work of their careers on issues of vital importance while they also mentor the next generation of journalists. As an O'Brien Fellow with the Diederich College of Communication, George is spending nine months researching, reporting and writing stories relating to the issue of police brutality in the city of Milwaukee.
The discussion is open to the public, but registration is required. The event is sponsored by Raynor Memorial Libraries, the Office of Institutional Diversity, and the Perry and Alicia O'Brien Fellowship in Public Service Journalism.
