Associate Principal Counsel, The Walt Disney Company

Kayleigh Mayer (Bus. Ad. '10 and Law ' 13) started her legal career in Wisconsin, working in estate planning, but moved to Los Angeles in 2019 to transition into the world of entertainment.  She worked as a Senior Attorney at Abrams Garfinkel Margolis Bergson, LLP for over three years where she represented writers, producers, and production companies in connection with documentary, television, and new media projects.  She served as legal affairs/production legal counsel on several unscripted television programs in the areas of true crime, reality, "clip" shows) and advised on clearance, intellectual property, personal, and privacy rights.  In 2022, Ms. Mayer joined The Walt Disney Company as an Associate Principal Counsel, Legal Affairs, where she supports ABC Network and the Walt Disney Television Alternative Studio on scripted and unscripted programming primarily for ABC Network and Hulu.
