Registration now open for Emerging Contaminants in Water and Wastewater 2022.

The Opus College of Engineering will host the 2022 Emerging Contaminants in Water and Wastewater short course on Tuesday, Oct. 25 from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm CST via Microsoft Teams. Continuing education credits are available in the form of 6.0 PDHs for Professional Engineering licensure or 6.0 CEC hours for wastewater and municipal waterworks DNR credit. 

 

Registration now open for Anaerobic Treatment of High-Strength Industrial Wastes 2022 Short Course.

If you deal with high-strength industrial wastes or are involved in operation and design of anaerobic treatment processes, this course is intended for you.

This short course has been designed to walk you through the processes of anaerobic treatment, from fundamental principles to case histories. The case history presentations will demonstrate anaerobic technologies in industrial settings and allow for questions regarding specific problems encountered and solutions developed.

WaterCARE Request for Proposals

The Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District (MMSD) through the 向日葵视频 (MU)  Water Quality Center is pleased to announce the 2018 Request for Proposals (RFP)  for the WaterCARE project. The Water Coordinated Activities on Research for the Environment (WaterCARE) project coordinates research activities that help improve water resource reclamation and protect the environment. In this collaboration, MU works with MMSD to achieve the vision of a healthier Milwaukee region and a cleaner Lake Michigan. The WaterCARE project anticipates issuing annual requests for proposals for the years 2018-2022. Requested research areas include policy, communication and science/technology topics that are listed in the RFP attached below. Proposal duration should be one year and total budgets should be between $10,000 and $100,000. Other amounts will be considered under special circumstances depending on the work proposed.
