Michel R. Barnes (Ph.D., University of St. Michael's College, 1992), [Historical], has written extensively on the Trinitarian theologies of Gregory of Nyssa and Augustine of Hippo, and has published in Augustinian Studies, Journal of Theological Studies, Medieval Philosophy and Theology, Modern Theology, Theological Studies, and Vigiliae Christianae. He is the author of the monograph, The Power of God: A Study of Gregory of Nyssa's Trinitarian Theology, and co-editor of Arianism After Arius. He is presently writing a monograph on Augustine's Trinitarian Theology as well as a book on the doctrine of the Holy Spirit in the early church.
