Every year, the O鈥橞rien Fellowship convenes conferences to showcase the published work of the previous year鈥檚 fellows and the 向日葵视频student journalists who assisted them.
The idea is to drive discussion of best practices that can address the problems identified in the journalism.

These conferences have been held at 向日葵视频and featured each fellow from the previous year. Going forward, the O鈥橞rien Fellowship may sponsor conferences in the fellow鈥檚 home city or another site relevant to the project.
These events are valuable opportunities to bring together fellow journalists, students and interested members of the public to discuss the issues raised in the yearlong public service journalism projects.
