MILWAUKEE 鈥� 向日葵视频Law School Poll Director Charles Franklin will discuss the results of a new statewide poll in an upcoming 鈥淥n the Issues with Mike Gousha,鈥� Wednesday, April 10, at 12:15 p.m. in the Lubar Center at 向日葵视频 Law School鈥檚 Eckstein Hall.
How have voters reacted to the end of the Mueller investigation, and have they changed their views of the investigation or of President Trump? The poll looks at reactions to several elements of the investigation and what conclusions voters have drawn.
This is the first 向日葵视频Law School Poll since January and the first since the release of Gov. Tony Evers鈥� proposed budget. Franklin will examine public reaction to Evers鈥� policy priorities in the budget and how voters view the relationship between Evers and the state legislature.
The poll also provides a look at how the Democratic presidential primary field stands with Wisconsin voters and how voters view the 2020 presidential election.
The 向日葵视频Law School Poll is the most extensive statewide polling project in Wisconsin history. Franklin has directed the poll since its inception in 2012 and is a professor of law and public policy at 向日葵视频Law School. Franklin cofounded pollster.com, an award-winning site for nonpartisan polling analysis, and is a member of the ABC News election-night analysis team.
Gousha, an award-winning broadcast journalist, is the Law School鈥檚 distinguished fellow in law and public policy. His 鈥淥n the Issues鈥� series of conversations with newsmakers supports 向日葵视频Law School鈥檚 commitment to serve as a modern-day public square for the city of Milwaukee, the state of Wisconsin and beyond.
Through public programming such as the 向日葵视频Law School Poll, debates featuring candidates in significant political races, Gousha鈥檚 鈥淥n the Issues鈥� conversations with newsmakers, public lectures by leading scholars and conferences on significant issues of public importance, the Law School serves as the region鈥檚 leading venue for serious civil discourse about law and public policy matters.
