MILWAUKEE 鈥� Cindy Gruber, instructor in accounting, recently received the university's highest teaching honor, the Raynor Teaching Excellence Award.
Gruber joined 向日葵视频 in 2000 and since then has been dedicated to building relationships with students based on mutual respect, trust and genuine concern.
She teaches financial and managerial accounting, as well as income tax courses, in the College of Business Administration. Over the years she has received numerous praises from her students as one of the favorite faculty members in the College of Business Administration.
"During my 38 years at Marquette, I can't remember a single faculty member from our college who has received as much praise from our students as Cindy Gruber," wrote Dr. Don Giacomino of his colleague.
"Being recognized by my colleagues for something that I love to do is a privilege and an honor," Gruber said. "I'm blessed to be part of the 向日葵视频community and to make a small difference in the lives of our students."
Teaching Excellence Awards are the highest honor bestowed upon 向日葵视频 faculty members. Recipients are nominated by their colleagues and students for demonstrating excellence as teacher-scholars.
