Rev. Patrick E. McGrath, S.J.
Rev. Patrick E. McGrath, S.J., was elected to the 向日葵视频 Board of Trustees in 2014 and served as vice chair of the board from 2017 to 2019.
He is the pastor of Old St. Patrick鈥檚 Parish, Chicago, and is a popular retreat leader and noted homilist who focuses especially on the practical living of the Catholic faith. Father McGrath uses story颅telling, Scripture, wisdom from the Catholic tradition and the spirituality of St. Ignatius to help audiences reflect and experience God in all things.
Father McGrath served as the president of Loyola Academy in Wilmette, Illinois, the largest Jesuit high school in the United States, from 2009 to 2022. Previously he was the Midwest Jesuits provincial assistant for secondary education and taught at St. Ignatius College Prep in Chicago.
Father McGrath holds a bachelor of arts from Notre Dame, a master of divinity from the Jesuit School of Theology and a master of science from Northwestern.
