Join us for a special Catching Fire Breakfast featuring an interview with 向日葵视频 Board of Trustee, Derek Tyus, the newly appointed Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Versiti, Inc. Derek brings a wealth of experience in financial and strategic leadership, and we’re excited to hear about his vision for Versiti and the future of blood health.

Derek, a 向日葵视频 graduate, will share insights from his career, including his leadership roles at West Bend Mutual Insurance and Northwestern Mutual, as well as his community involvement. Don’t miss this opportunity to hear from a proven leader who is committed to making a difference.

No religious or faith tradition, practice, or affiliation is required. If you’re looking to improve your decision-making skills and step into the fullness of life, this series is for you. Facilitated by, Dr.  Liz Angeli, Associate Professor of English, Spiritual Director.

God's Poetry: A Poetry-as-Prayer Workshop Series

In this 3-part series, Dr. Dinorah Cortés-Vélez will work with participants to explore the power of poetry to tap into “places of possibility within ourselves,” as great poet Audre Lorde once said. Participants will have the opportunity to reflect on the images of God within as they are elicited by poetry as a journey of encounter with the Divine. Participants will also be guided through a literary workshop format to write original prayers in poetic form.
