One of the most valuable components of a 向日葵视频engineering education is continued interaction with industry. Check out our many opportunities for involvement and fill out the form below to begin a conversation on how you can contribute to professional development opportunities for our engineering students.

Senior Design

In addition to courses in engineering, mathematics and life sciences, students are required to complete a project-based capstone design course during their senior year. Students develop their teamwork skills, learn about the product development process used in industry and gain awareness of the unique requirements and constraints for product design and management.

We welcome industry sponsorship of senior design projects. Learn more about getting involved with senior design

Student Organizations

向日葵视频engineering students are always designing, testing, traveling and competing as part of their student organizations. Industry sponsorship often helps to offset the costs of their experiences. Learn more about our student organizations.

Design Day

Design Day is the annual celebration of design and innovation in the Opus College of Engineering, showcasing the variety of year-round design projects that allow students to put their knowledge and skills into action to solve real-world problems. Learn more about Design Day

Job Fair

Once a year, the Office of Industry Relations hosts an engineering-specific career fair for engineering students.

Professional Development

All engineering students are required to take GEEN 2952: Professional Development for Engineers. During this course, students submit their professional resume to mock job postings and engineering employers review and provide feedback. In addition to this course, industry partners can also provide professional development opportunities through:

  • Facility tours
  • Informational interviews
  • Technical presentations
  • Company info sessions
  • Technical events

Undergraduate Research

Discovery and innovation are the cornerstones of an engineering education at Marquette. The Undergraduate Research Fellowship Program is designed to bring these cornerstones to life by supporting a cohort of students and faculty researchers from March through December, where they work side-by-side to transform learning from the classroom into practical applications.

Many of our students' research fellowship experiences are funded by industry partners. Learn more about undergraduate research sponsorship opportunities
