Student Employment Opportunities


The Career Education Intern is part of a team made up of two to three undergraduate students. Working with the supervising Career Counselor, this team is an integral part of the Career Center, responsible for assisting students directly and indirectly with basic career related topics such as resumes and cover letters, brief practice interviews, Handshake usage, and internship/job search related presentations. This position would be ideal for students who have career interest in counseling, education, human resources, higher education administration, or social work. However, all majors are encouraged to apply. Ultimately, the skills acquired and enhanced through this position would be beneficial to any future profession. 

Approximately 6 - 10 hours/week 

The Marketing Intern is part of the Marketing team working with the supervising Career Counselor, Director of the Career Center and all Career Center Staff.  This team is an integral part of the Career Center responsible for planning and executing comprehensive marketing plans to promote office events, resources, and services. The interns create promotional materials using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, and MS Publisher for social media, digital/ physical advertisements, and emails. They manage, administer, and improve Career Center social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, Pinterest, TikTok, etc.) by increasing followers and engagement.
