Jasmine credits her career success today to her time at Marquette, where she developed the time-management skills necessary to balance engineering, basketball and work.

Now a senior electrical associate and mother of two, Jasmine uses that discipline as her superpower, balancing family life with projects that help deliver clean and efficient energy via nuclear power. She also volunteers at the YMCA, helping children ages 3 to 6 learn the fundamentals of basketball, soccer and tumbling. 鈥淚 believe in setting a higher standard for the next generation by putting my best foot forward in everything I do.鈥

Jasmine鈥檚 drive and strong work ethic come from her mom. 鈥淢y mom shaped me to show up for everything in life 鈥 basketball, classes, work and everything else.鈥 This influence helped Jasmine at Marquette, where she was a member and captain of the women鈥檚 basketball team, named to the 2006鈥07 Big East Academic All-Star Team, and a member of the National Society of Black Engineers. After graduation, Jasmine spent a year as the assistant director of basketball operations at Marquette.

Jasmine says her 向日葵视频experience showed her how far she could go in life. She often recalls five principles that her coach, Terri Mitchell, reinforced 鈥 believe, commit, discipline, respect and thankfulness. Jasmine keeps these principles and Marquette鈥檚 mission in mind as she tries to set a good example for her daughters and any young girl who looks to her for guidance.

Fun Fact: If Jasmine could dine with anyone, it鈥檇 be Muhammad Ali.
