Psychological Evaluations, Assessment and Treatment Services
CPS clinicians conduct comprehensive evaluations of psychological and educational problems in clients across the lifespan. Evaluation services occur over a few meetings during which a client meets with an evaluating clinician to complete structured clinical interview(s) and standardized evaluation measures. Generally, a written report of clinical findings and recommendations are provided to the client at the end of the evaluation process.
CPS offers state-of-the-art, evidence-based assessment and treatment services for many psychological problems, including depression, anxiety, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), relationship concerns, academic difficulties, Tourette's Syndrome, tic disorders, and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD). Evidence Based Practice (EBP) therapy services offered at CPS include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Motivational Interviewing. CPS provides therapy services to children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families.
Contacting CPS
When calling CPS, you will be asked to provide basic information, such as your name, age, and contact information, in addition to a brief description of the presenting problem. You will then be sent a more detailed questionnaire which will help us determine whether we have the capacity to provide services or if an outside referral is more appropriate. Once we receive your responses, we will contact you to either schedule an intake appointment or suggest other local providers. At the intake appointment, you will have the opportunity to provide more detailed information about why you are seeking services. Most typically, an evaluation and/or therapy will follow. However, sometimes it is determined that CPS is unable to provide appropriate services and you will be offered a referral to another resource.
Fees
The fee for services is established during this visit. Fees are determined by ability to pay.
