Mission Week 2025: Feb 2-7
When St. Ignatius wrote letters of instruction, he often asked those that he wrote to, to be considerate and kind. He and the first companions created the Society of Jesus to take God鈥檚 ministry out into the world. By empowering others to 鈥済o, set the world on fire,鈥 he ignited a movement that, over 500 years later, has global reach and impact.
During this week, consider taking action by attending one of the many Mission Week offerings. Whether it be opportunities to listen to inspirational speakers, participate in service, pray, worship, or reflect and take time for silence each day.

In celebration of Mission Week, 向日葵视频students are invited to this interactive event that will help us to think more introspectively about our stereotypes and implicit bias about people with social identities different than our own. Students will listen to stories from a diverse group of community members that have agreed to share their experiences. In the process, we will reflect on our own self-awareness, empathy, and commitment to inclusion and equity.
This event seeks to honor the legacy of Dr. Marija Bjegovich-Weidman, whose scholarship introduced 向日葵视频to the Human Library experience. The session is open to all 向日葵视频students.
