COVID-19 Isolation & Testing Information

COVID-19 ISOLATION INFORMATION

In accordance with , 向日葵视频 no longer requires a five-day isolation period for students, faculty or staff who test positive for COVID-19. .

Individuals who test positive or have symptoms* of COVID-19 and other respiratory illnesses should stay home and away from others until symptoms are improving and no fever is present for at least 24 hours without the use of fever-reducing medication.

*Symptoms may include but are not limited to chest discomfort, chills, cough, decrease in appetite, diarrhea, fatigue (tiredness), fever or feeling feverish, headache, muscle or body aches, new loss of taste or smell, runny or stuffy nose, sneezing, sore throat, vomiting, weakness, wheezing. 

For students: Please note the attendance policy guidance

Once returning to normal activities, it is advised to continue taking for the next five days to decrease the spread of illness.  

This includes:

    • wearing a well fitted mask
    • distancing from others
    • practicing good  by covering your coughs and sneezes
    • washing or sanitizing your hands often
    • cleaning frequently touched surfaces often.

Respiratory Illness Prevention Strategies

All individuals should continue utilizing for COVID-19 and other respiratory illnesses to protect yourself and others. This includes: 

  • Staying , including current flu and COVID vaccines. For older adults and infants, this may also include RSV vaccine.  
  • Practicing  
  • Taking  
  • When sick, getting tested and seeking treatment, especially if you are at  
  • Being aware of for those at higher risk for severe illnesses
