History: Holy Spirit Church, San Antonio, Texas, has been a diverse parish with some parishioners of Native American ancestry (e.g. Coahuiltecan Mestizos) in the Archdiocese of San Antonio (Archives: San Antonio, Texas). The parish was founded, 1964, from the merger of two parishes – Blessed Sacrament Church and St. Mary Magdalen Church, both of which were administered by San Antonio arch/diocesan priests.
