History: Corpus Christ Church, Carson City, Nevada, had been a predominantly non-Native American parish in the Diocese of Reno (Archives: Reno, Nevada). Jesuits at Corpus Christi served Native American students (e.g. Paiute, Shoshoni, Washoe) at the Stewart Government Indian School.

Reno diocesan priests established Corpus Christi Church on the Stewart School campus, Carson City

1949-1968

Jesuits (California Province) (Archives: St. Louis, Missouri) at St. Gall鈥檚, Gardnerville, attended to Corpus Christi and to students at the Stewart School

1968-1980 (school closed)

Jesuits at St. Teresa of Avila, Carson City, attended to Corpus Christi and to students at the Stewart School until the school closed

1980-1990

Reno diocesan priests at St. Teresa鈥檚 attended to Corpus Christi

1990-2000s

Reno diocesan priests administered Corpus Christi

Corpus Christi Church relocated to a new Carson City site, from which Reno diocesan priests continued to administer the parish
