History: St. Joseph Mission School San Fidel, Cibola County, New Mexico, has been a small and predominantly Native American mission school (e.g. Acoma [Keresan], Laguna [Keresan], Mestizos, Navajo) near Acoma Pueblo in the Diocese of Gallup (Archives: Gallup, New Mexico).

Franciscans (St. John the Baptist Province) (Archives: Cincinnati, Ohio; archives bulk: St. Michaels, Arizona, and Tucson, Arizona) established and administered St. Joseph Church, San Fidel/ Milan

1923-1950s

Poor Sisters of St. Francis Seraph of the Perpetual Adoration (St. Joseph Province) (Archives: Colorado Springs, Colorado) founded and administered St. Joseph Mission School

1960-1994

Ursulines (Archives: Maple Mount, Kentucky) administered St. Joseph鈥檚
