History: Nebraska south of the Platte River was erected as the Diocese of Lincoln, 1887, from territory in the Diocese of Omaha. The Lincoln Diocese has served Immaculate Conception Church, Rulo, from where diocesan priests evangelized Iowa and Sac and Fox Indians, 1918-1930s.
