History: The Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet were founded in France, ca. 1650, and they identify themselves with 鈥淐.S.J.鈥� as their post-nominal initials. Two U.S. provinces founded the Carondelet Consolidated Archive, 2000, which includes the records of the St. Louis and Los Angeles provinces, but not the St. Paul Province.
