History: Blessed Mother Maria Theresia Bonzel founded the Poor Sisters of St. Francis Seraph of the Perpetual Adoration (a.k.a. Sisters of St. Francis of Perpetual Adoration) in Olpe, Germany, 1863. They self-identify with the post-nominal initials, "O.S.F." and made their first U.S. foundation in Indiana, 1875, which eventually became two provinces that ministered to Native Americans in New Mexico (e.g. Apache, Jemez, Navajo, Zuni):
