History: Santa Clara de As铆s Mission, on the campus of Santa Clara University, Santa Clara, California, was once a predominantly Native American parish in the Diocese of San Jose in California (Archives: San Jose, California).

1777-1851 (no longer Native)	Franciscans (Santo Evangelico Province) (Archives: Puebla, Mexico) established and administered Santa Clara de As铆s Mission (Miwok, Ohlone)
After 1851	Jesuits (Turin, California Provinces) (Archives: St. Louis, Missouri) transformed Santa Clara Mission into a chapel, now within the University of Santa Clara campus
