History: San Carlos Apache Mission and St. Charles Apache Mission School, San Carlos, Arizona, and St. Kateri Tekakwitha Mission, Bylas, Arizona, have been predominantly Native American (Apache) parishes and a school on the San Carlos Indian Reservation and in the Diocese of Tucson (Archives: Tucson, Arizona).

1918-present	Franciscans (Santa Barbara Province) (Archives: Santa Barbara, California) established and have administered San Carlos Mission (Apache), San Carlos Reservation
1965-2006	Sisters of the Blessed Sacrament for Indians and Colored People (Archives: Wynnewood, Pennsylvania) staffed St. Charles School
2006-2013	Sisters of Mercy of the Americas (Mid-Atlantic Community) (Archives: Belmont, North Carolina) staffed the school, in part
2006-present	Laity have staffed the school
