History: San Francisco de As铆s Church, Flagstaff, Coconino County, Arizona, has been a predominantly non-Native American parish in the Diocese of Phoenix (Archives: Phoenix, Arizona). San Francisco de As铆s has been administered by Phoenix diocesan priests and it has had some Native American parishioners (e.g. Navajo). The parish was formed through the consolidation of three Flagstaff parishes, one of which was Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church (e.g. Navajo), a downtown parish with a few Native American parishioners (e.g. Navajo).
