History: Founded in Italy by St. Gaspar de Bufalo, 1815, missionaries of the Society of the Precious Blood (a.k.a. Missionaries of the Precious Blood) have self-identified with the post-nominal initials, 鈥淐.Pp.S.鈥� and made their first U.S. foundation in Cincinnati, 1844. They administered the following Native American missions and a school:
