Description: The 鈥淒eAndreis-Rosati Memorial Archives,鈥 of the Vincentians Midwest and Western Provinces
History: Founded in France, 1625, the Vincentians or Congregation of the Mission, made their first U.S. foundation, 1818, and established its Midwest Province, 1888, and its Western Province, 1975. Thereafter, the Vincentians returned to their missionary focus, withdrew from their well-established parishes and schools, and their Western Province accepted new missionary assignments, which included missions and parishes among Native Americans in Arizona that the Franciscans had founded and administered previously:
