Heather Stur (BA, MA) received her PhD from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and is an assistant professor of history at the University of Southern Mississippi. Her research interests include the Vietnam War, the cultural side of U.S. diplomacy, race and gender studies, oral history, and U.S. urban history. In her spare time she runs marathons.

Patrick Enders (BA) received a master鈥檚 degree in public history from Johns Hopkins University and a medical degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He is a pediatrician in Lakeville, Minnesota.

Nicholas J. Dinardo (BA) received his PhD from Brandies University and is a professor of national security affairs at the United States Marine Corps Staff and Command College in Quantico, Virginia. John Feehery (BA, MA) has served as an aid and speechwriter to several members of Congress and as director of communications for Speaker of the House J. Dennis Hastert. Steven Loucks (BA) worked as a political consultant and as an aide to U. S. Senator Bob Kasten before serving for several years in the Wisconsin State Assembly. Since then he was worked as a public relations executive for travel agencies in Wisconsin, Virginia, and Chicago.

Richard Sankovitz (BA) is a Circuit Court Judge in Milwaukee County. He serves on the faculty of the Judicial College. Formerly he was a shareholder in the law firm of Whyte Hirschboeck Dudek S.C. After graduation from Harvard Law School, and he clerked for (then) United States District Court Judge (now United States Circuit Court Judge) Terence T. Evans. He was appointed to the bench in 1996.

Daryl Michael Scott (BA) is professor of history at Howard University. He received his PhD at Stanford University and taught at Columbia University and the University of Florida before coming to Howard in 2003. His book, Contempt and Pity: Social Policy and the Image of the Black Psyche, 1880-1996 (Chapel Hill: University of North Carolina Press, 1997), won the 1998 James A. Rawley Prize of the Organization of American Historians for the best work on race relations history in the United States.

Joseph J. Simonetti (MA) is director of housing operations for Northwestern University as well as an adjunct lecturer in U.S., Latin American and Asian history at both National Louis University and Columbia College in Chicago.

He is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, whose membership is limited to 1% of the trial lawyers in any state, and is a Fellow in the prestigious National College of Labor and Employment Lawyers.

Kathleen Kean (MA) has been a teacher at Nicolet High School in Glendale, Wisconsin, for more than twenty years. She was part of the Organization of American Historians Focus Group that reviewed the National History Standards and served on the board of editors of the Magazine of History. She helped found and has served on the board of Historic Milwaukee, Inc., a historic preservation organization, for which she designed and implemented a program to train volunteers to give architectural and historical walking tours. She received the OAH Mary K. Bonsteel Tachau Precollegiate Teaching Award in 2000, while in 2004 she was named the American History Teacher of the Year by the Gilder Lehrman Institute in New York City.

In 1979 Evans was nominated by President Jimmy Carter to be a Judge on the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin. Judge Evans served as Chief Judge of the Eastern District from 1991 until his successful nomination to the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit by President Bill Clinton in 1995.

William Evans (BA), after a 30 year career in international business, is now on his second career as Head of Marketing for a French-American private business college (MBA Institute) in Paris, France.

Jean Fleet (BA) is a long-time instructor in the Milwaukee Public Schools, most recently at Riverside University High School. She was named the Wisconsin Global Educator of the Year for 2005-2006 and received the Teacher-Scholar Award from the National Endowment for the Humanities. She has traveled on Fulbrights to Eastern Europe and to India. She also served on the core committee to write the National Standards in World History.

James Frey (BA), president of Educational Credential Evaluators, Inc. in Milwaukee, received the Excellence in International Education award from the American Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers (AACRAO) at the AACRAO conference in San Diego in April 2006. Jim was the first recipient of this new award.

Patrick C. Meade (BA) received his MA from Rice University and his law degree from the University of Minnesota. Since the 1980s he has been a judge in the Mental Health and the Family divisions of the Hennepin County, Minnesota, circuit court.

Dr. James Mellonig (BA) received his Doctor of Dentistry degree from 向日葵视频 Dental School. He is presently professor of dentistry and director of the Advanced Education Program in Periodontics at The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. He received the 2003 Outstanding Educator Award from the American Academy of Periodontology.

Alberto Meloni (BA, MA) received an MA in American history from Harvard University and did PhD work at the University of Minnesota before beginning a twenty-five year career as a museum administrator. He became president of Exploration Place in Kansas City in 2006. His work as CEO of St. Joseph Museum, Inc., earned him the Governor鈥檚 Humanities Award in2003.

Dr. George David Metrey (BA) received his M. S. W. in psychiatry from Fordham University and his doctorate in public administration at New York University. He is dean of the pre- medical program at Xavier Medical School in Aruba.

Charles C. Mulcahy (BA) has practiced law in Milwaukee for several decades. He has served on numerous boards, including the Medical College of Wisconsin, and is currently a senior advisor to the McKinley Reserve, a Wisconsin-based worldwide investment firm.

Frederick A. Muth, Jr. (BA) received his law degree from 向日葵视频 law school and for many years practiced law in Milwaukee. He was chairman of Whyte Hirschboeck Dudek for nearly twenty years and has served on the boards of many charitable, educational, and religious organizations in the area, including the Board of Trustees of Alverno College and the President's Council, of 向日葵视频. He was Law Alumnus of the Year, 向日葵视频 Law School, in 1979.

Michael S. Nolan (BA) earned his law degree from 向日葵视频, where he edited the law review, and was a Fulbright scholar at the University of Manchester in England. As a partner at Foley & Lardner in Milwaukee, he practiced general corporate and securities law, including cases in Mexico and South and Central America.

Lloyd L. Sponholtz (BA) received his PhD from the University of Pittsburgh. He was a professor in the history department at the University of Kansas, specializing in U.S. business history.
