Holthusen Hall features the renovated 1,154-seat Varsity Theatre, serving as a lecture hall, concert venue and cinema. The four-story structure is also home to the Career Services Center, Counseling Center, Office of Research and Sponsored Programs, and Office of International Education. Built in 1937, it was renamed in 1985 to honor Henry Holthusen, founder of the Milwaukee Manufacturing Corp., and his wife Violet.
